Tim Bruce
Director (Geodesic Hong Kong Limited)
Tim is the Director of Geodesic’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Geodesic Hong Kong Limited. His role includes overseeing business, product and engineering, and development of Spyder.
Tim founded Engage Solutions in Hong Kong in October 2000. After successfully developing customer management and alignment technologies, in December 2005, Engage Solutions merged with Geodesic.
Equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from England, Tim began his career as a defence control systems engineer for Dowty Electronics. Prior to building Engage, he was the Regional Head of Technology for Nomura Securities in Asia. Then, he established the technology base required for Nomura to transform its non-Japanese Asian business from a collection of Japanese equity distribution offices to a full service regional investment bank.
Collecting antique silverware, fine art and old telecommunications equipment appeal to him. In sports, he has a keen interest in rugby, sailing and skiing.
